Dr. DeMill is fellowship-trained in foot and ankle surgery. This means that in addition to completing an internship and an orthopedic surgical residency, he has devoted an additional year of study focused on foot and ankle surgery.
Shyler L. DeMill, DO
Dr. DeMill received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his medical degree at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ. He completed a five-year residency program in Orthopedic Surgery at Doctor's Hospital and Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH, through the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a one year Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center in Westerville, OH.

Dr. DeMill treats a wide array of orthopedic problems, but he has special interest in the lower extremity. His practice focuses on foot and ankle sports medicine, reconstruction, arthroplasty, and trauma and has performed over two thousand surgeries. He makes the effort to treat every patient individually and with the utmost respect.
Dr. DeMill and his wife, Britt, have six fantastically energetic children. Parenting can be one of the most challenging, yet rewarding endeavors in life. “The greatest work we will ever do will be within the walls of our home.” (David O. McKay). Dr. DeMill and his family enjoy activities including sports, the outdoors, travel, cultural pursuits and anything BYU related. Cougar blue through and through!
Dr. DeMill is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and spends a lot of his “free” time serving and helping others. One of his favorite life experiences was serving as a missionary for his church in Córdoba, Argentina. From that experience he has gained a unique perspective on life, cultures and people. He spent nearly two years in Argentina and is fluent in Spanish.

Kevin is happily married and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He enjoys hiking, running and outdoor activities in general.
Kevin Walkenhauer, PA-C is a native of Yakima. He attended West Valley High School before enrolling at Central Washington University. He was a 4-year baseball student athlete at CWU.
